Cardiology Fellowship

Curriculum

Although The Cardiology Fellowship rotation schedule is fixed for the first two years, during the third year there are six elective rotations allowing the fellow to choose multiple areas of level two specialization including: echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, congestive heart failure, magnetic resonance, diagnostic cardiac catheterization and device surveillance.

Teaching on each clinical service is overseen by one teaching attending only, who reviews patient care each day with the fellow on the clinical services.

During the first two years of fellowship each fellow follows a panel of patients seen in the fellows' clinic. During the third year of fellowship fellows participate in ambulatory care with a cardiology attending in their private practice.
